I attended McGill University in Canada. I am proud to say that I have taught in the classroom for more than three decades. Most of my teaching has been with middle schoolers, but I have the depth and expertise to effectively tutor kids in high school and middle school. I attribute my professional success to my approach with students, which is built on three parts. First, you gain bigger dividends when you exhibit patience and when your students know you truly care. This is true for a single student or a group. Second, you must be able to adapt your approach. How someone learns varies greatly from person to person. I am able to use tools and techniques that allow me to take a highly customized approach. And, third, I have the ability to take something complex and break it down into simple pieces so that a student can more easily understand the content. I can tutor Biology, Chemistry French, Earth Science, Physical Science, Math, Study Skills and Organization, General Biology, and General Chemistry. I live in Boca Raton, Florida. In my spare time, I like to walk, read, knit, and complete jigsaw puzzles.
