Hello! My name is Sara, and I would love to be your tutor. I have a PhD in Political Science from the University of California Davis (PhD fields of specialization- political theory, American politics, and comparative literature). MA in Political Science from University of Houston. BA in Political Science (Summa cum laude with Honors from the Honors College) from the University of Houston.
Experience
I am currently an Adjunct Instructor for Portland Community College and for online government courses at Odessa College. I was an Adjunct Instructor at the University of La Verne and an Associate Instructor in the UC Davis Political Science department for several years before that. This teaching role included designing all elements of writing-intensive classes, including syllabi, grading all assignments, and teaching all lectures. Before that, I was a Teaching Assistant in charge of grading and teaching discussion sections for undergraduate courses for 8 years. Hiring me as a tutor would be hiring a college professor for one-on-one education. Prices vary depending on subject and grade level. I also offer online tutoring via Skype or G-chat.
