I am currently a Music Performance Major at the Lynn Conservatory at Lynn University. I come to South Florida, from Boston University where I was a Music Education and Performance major. There, I interned in schools as a teacher's assistant.
Experience
I have tutored for 5 years now in and out of schools. In schools, I have served as a Teacher's Assistant in the Islip Schools system on Long Island, NY at their aftercare program. There, I helped students complete their homework and helped create fun ways to keep children engaged. In the home, I have tutored children grades K-12 in all subjects and have prepped students for tests in school as well as simple homework help. I love being a tutor because as a previous education major, I love working with children and loving seeing those "aha!" moments when a student really gets what they are learning. I really believe in making learning fun for kids and I hope to share that more.
